Touching Base

I thought it was time to add another post to this blog so I am going to upload a few fun pictures for you all to try to guess who they are. These are all part of this family. So, put your thinking caps on and post your guesses in the comments. I will reveal the answers at a later date. Hint, three generations are pictured in the photos.
NOTE: Names have been added now.

    I know I should be able to guess the 1st one. Is it Aunt Beanie, Aunt Curly, & possibly Grandpa Shorty? Or one of the other boys?
    Not sure on the others as it was a little before my time, but would love to know!

    The middle picture is Abigail Vivianna (Chester) Emery, mother of Mary (Emery) Ireland. According to information from Harold's photo album, the picture was taken in California on her birthday, Nov. 10, 1943; however, another picture is labeled 1940 where she looks the same and is wearing the same dress. She was born in 1878 and died in 1943.

    The man in the third photo is Howard Ireland; and if you hadn't given a hint that this represented three generations, my guess would have been that the two ladies were his sisters. I haven't seen this photo before. In comparing another earlier photo of Howard with his siblings, I would have guessed that the sister on the left could be Letha (maybe Effie), and the sister on the right might be Olive. However, if the hint is right, then I have no idea who the two ladies are except that they are apparently family and have an Ireland resemblance. I would not have guessed they are from three different generations, so I have no idea who the ladies are. I keep thinking I will show this to Sam, and see what he thinks.

    I meant that the three pictures represebnt three generations .. not the last picture. Sorry about that confusion. Yes, it is Effie, Howard, and Letha
